Dmexco 2017 was a whirlwind of meaningful conversations, old friends and new contacts.

We were there to launch our latest product – vi stories –and we were blown away by the positive feedback. Dmexco is an important show for us, we see it as the best place in Europe to do business.

As our stand boasted, vi now has 12,000 direct publisher connections; that’s apps and sites with our SDK or Tag integrated. We wanted to demonstrate the power of direct connections, and the challenge in creating them, so we build an ‘escape room’ in the centre of our stand. Visitors were locked in the room, with 15 minutes to make the right connections to succeed.

It was a lot of fun.

Visitors were also lucky enough to try the food from Michelin-starred chef Oliver Roeder. We love good food of course, but more than that, we always place quality first-and-foremost.

Our CEO Kai Henniges presented his talk ‘Has AdTech gone full circle?’. Discussing the current state of the adtech LUMAScape, Henniges stated “Between the advertiser and the publisher 70% of the media value disappeared. That’s clearly untenable.” The talk will be available to watch very soon.
