vi and Outbrain: Day 0
Today is the day Outbrain and vi official become partners – we’re calling it ‘Day 0’.
But this is no zero-sum game, rather, this is a 1 + 1 = 3 situation: A combination of scale and quality, that means the benefits are spread far and wide.
From today, as part of Outbrain, we’ll be able to offer our Publishers better deals – more demand, and more competitive rates. Media buyers will be seeing a huge increase in reach, with more of our unique in-stream inventory at their disposal. Creators’ video content will spread further, onto more sites, in more countries, to more users.
And those users, who at the end of the day are the reason we do all this, they will have more content experiences that make sense to them.
Our teams have been hard at work behind-the-scenes integrating our two companies. From today our teams in New York, Cologne and London will begin to share offices. We’ll be speaking to customers from both brands and introducing them to each other’s products.
But that’s just the start.
We have a vision for a product suite that works up and down the marketing funnel, that covers contextual video and native. That expands beyond the webpage and onto CTV, mobile… and whatever comes next.
But our brand will remain, the video intelligence you know and (hopefully) love, will stay synonymous with quality content, remarkable contextual matching, and pioneering technology.
There will be more sci-fi quotes. More content providers. And many more video moments to remember.
For us, Day 0 is a single step on a bigger journey to greatness. For our customers, it means they’re already a part of something that will become the best content platform on the open web.
